Well, I’ve done it. I went out and got me a real, actual blog.
Spiffy.
Most of you have probably followed me over from my deviantART account. If you have, I can’t thank you enough. If you haven’t, ignore the sharp pain in your ankle. That’ll just be me, digging my claws in.
It’s just past 11:30pm in Montreal, meaning I’ve got less than half an hour left of 2010 to set this place up and get it prepped for the new year. Soon enough, it’ll be filled with my thoughts, analysis and ramblings on the sport called horse racing. I’ll do previews of big race days, profiles of horses and… just about anything else I can think of, actually. Hopefully I can be interesting/intelligent enough to hold your attention for longer than this single post.
Let the fun begin.

Yay! If I could insert the most epic dA icon here I would.
Can’t wait to read your racing ramblings – perhaps it’ll teach me a thing or two more about the sport. C=

8D This is so exciting! I love your pony entries and therefore am excited to see them all in one plaaace.
I was just having a discussion on one of my racing boards about what about pedigree defines ability to get distance, preference to dirt/turf, etc. I realized exactly how little research is done on the actual genetics and inner workings of these animals, and that there could be genes out there coding for low lactic acid buildup, or larger-than-normal nasal passages, super efficient lungs, or, or…etc, etc. It was almost enough to make me change my major and learn about SCIENCE, but then I realized I would be terrible at it. xD Therefore, inspired by your subtitle, I leave this stuff up to folks like you!

Ha! Oh, guaranteed I’ll be rambling on about latent genetic patterns of inheritance in no time. xD As soon as somebody mentions the name Unbridled’s Song, OFF I GO. Just about the only one the industry’s noticed is the so-called X factor–the large hearts of horses like Eclipse, Secretariat and Sham.
Thanks for following me over!

It is indeed! I figured there could be no better time than the top of the Derby trail, too. 😀

Glad you started this blog, you may be able to teach me a thing or two about horse racing! Always been sort of casually interested in racing, love watching the races.
Although I was sad to see Zenyatta retire, but she may make some good babies, yus? =D

Thanks for following me over! I hope I can teach a few things. 😉
Zenyatta sure has a better chance than most at making good babies! :3
